It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and devastating loss of Lavette Christine Weston—a beautiful soul, beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother of seven—who tragically passed away due to a lack of oxygen to her brain following a severe asthma attack.

Lavette was a fun-loving, compassionate woman who lived every day for her children: Zyan, Zaniyah, Kehlani, Laron, Kimora, Lamar, and her youngest, 7-month-old Lamir. She went above and beyond to make sure each of them felt safe, cherished, and unconditionally loved—even if that meant going without herself.

She was an active and involved mother at her children’s school—never missing an event, class activity, or participation project. Lavette showed up for every moment, big or small, with unmatched energy and love. Her dedication left a lasting impression on teachers, staff, and fellow parents alike.

Lavette was incredibly smart, creative, and known for her amazing cooking. She turned every moment into a celebration, making birthdays and holidays feel magical—not just for her own kids, but for all of her family and friends. She had a generous heart and an infectious spirit that lit up every room she entered.

She was the life of every party—hilarious, joyful, and full of light. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went.

We are raising funds to cover funeral expenses and properly lay Lavette to rest, as well as to provide ongoing support for her seven children during this heartbreaking time. Any contribution—big or small—will help ease the burden on her family and ensure her children are surrounded by the love and stability Lavette always worked so hard to provide.
