Officer Luke Lyons was a dedicated Officer of the Millburn Police Department as well as United States Marine Corps veteran. The husband of a supportive and loving wife and devoted father. Officer Lyons unexpectedly passed away on May 19, 2024.
Officer Lyons was the lead instructor of the Drone Unit, an avid and active member of the Millburn PBA.
Luke leaves behind his heartbroken wife of 11 years Selvete and children.
Luke was a kind, giving, gentle soul with a smile and laugh that would brighten your day. Luke was a leading force in the department. The untimely loss of Officer Lyons leaves a void in the hearts of his brothers and sisters in blue that time will never heal.
On behalf of The Lyons’ family, The Millburn PBA and SOA are asking for your support for his family. The money will go to his family to be used for whatever needs they may have.
