In Loving Memory of Rosa Imelda Martinez

Rosa, also known by many as Imelda, gracefully earned her wings on November 9th, 2023.

Rosa touched the lives of many in the short 58 years she was on earth. She was a devoted wife to Robert Martinez, married for 38 years and in love for 40 this month. Through life's ups and downs, she expressed pure love and devotion to him. A loving mother to her three boys, Jr, Richard, and Raymond. She was the kind of mother everyone wanted. Strict for all the right reasons, loving on every occasion, and a friend through everything. She taught us all about love and the importance of family. A wonderful sister to Eduardo Valles. From their childhood in Tijuana to adulthood in the States, the duo carried a bond like no other. Distance was never an issue because they had each other. A caring grandmother to 15 grandkids. She truly loved being "Grandma Rosa," and she expressed her love and caring nature every single day. The perfect aunt/tia to a sea of nephews and nieces. A friend, she was everyone's book of wisdom when life got rough. She was there to give advice or a hug. Most importantly, she was there to listen. She was an angel in our eyes. She always found the good in everyone and never judged one's choices. She opened her home and heart to all in need. The amount of souls that she nurtured and cared for is endless. She has taught us all about the gift of love and its strength in everyday life. No matter the situation, she always had a solution to any problem thrown her way.

With her sudden death, the family welcomes any help and support in this time of need. The Martinez family appreciates any help given from the bottom of their heart.

Rosa will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn in Cypress, California.

Services will be held on December 7th and December 8th.

Rosa, también conocida por muchos como Imelda, se ganó con gracia sus alas el 9 de noviembre de 2023.

Rosa tocó las vidas de muchos en los cortos 58 años que estuvo en la tierra. Fue una dedicada esposa para Roberto Martinez, casada por 38 años y juntos por 40 este mes. A través de los altibajos de la vida, ella expresó puro amor y devoción a él. Una madre amorosa para sus tres hijos, Jr, Richard y Raymond. Era el tipo de madre que todos querían. Estricta por las razones adecuadas, cariñosa en todas las ocasiones y amiga en todo momento. Nos enseñó a todos el amor y la importancia de la familia. Una hermana maravillosa para Eduardo Valles. Desde su infancia en Tijuana hasta la edad adulta en Estados Unidos, el dúo mantuvo un vínculo sin igual. La distancia nunca fue un problema porque se tenían el uno al otro. Abuela cariñosa de 15 nietos. Ella realmente amaba ser la "Abuela Rosa", y expresaba su amor y su naturaleza cariñosa todos los días. La tía perfecta para un mar de sobrinos y sobrinas. Una amiga, era el libro de sabiduría de todos cuando la vida se ponía difícil. Estaba ahí para dar un consejo o un abrazo. Y lo que es más importante, estaba ahí para escuchar. Era un ángel para nosotros. Siempre encontraba lo bueno en cada persona y nunca juzgaba sus decisiones. Abría su casa y su corazón a todos los necesitados. La cantidad de almas que alimentó y cuidó es infinita. Nos enseñó a todos el don del amor y su fuerza en la vida diaria. No importaba la situación, siempre tenía una solución para cualquier problema que se le presentara.

Con su repentina muerte, la familia agradece cualquier ayuda y apoyo en este momento de necesidad. La familia Martinez agradece de todo corazón cualquier ayuda que se les brinde.

Rosa será velada en Forest Lawn en Cypress, California. Los servicios se celebrarán los días 7 y 8 de diciembre.
