Loving Nickie through the sudden loss of Marc

Nickie has always been there for us. Now it's our turn to be there for her. It is with terrible sadness I inform you on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 Marc Lucas, Nickie's beloved husband passed away suddenly. Nickie is currently in ICU battling Covid. To say Nickie and Mark were soulmates is an understatement. He was the love of her life. She's lost her world. Mark was not only a loving husband, but a loving father to his son Matthew. Marc was such a wonderful, kind, caring, generous, amazing man. He was in the Cajun Navy, and he'd give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Nickie and Marc are also loving parents to several fur babies. Due to so many shut downs and hurricanes, their jobs were lost. Not only is this going to be an extremely difficult grieving process, but the financial burden of any funeral expenses, medical bills, and household bills are going to be more than anyone in this situation can handle alone. Nickie has always been one of those special people who could lift up anyone around her, despite anything she was going through. I can't think of a soul on this earth that doesn't love her. She's an angel to so many, myself included. Let's do what we can to get her through the most difficult time in her life. Every little bit helps. Above all, let's all keep her in our prayers!
