Loving support for Jay
Donation protected
The unthinkable happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 23rd as Jill suffered a catastrophic brain aneurysm. Despite much hopefulness and anticipation of healing, unfortunately we lost her the morning of Saturday, August 28th. In honor of Jill, let us turn our love into support for Jay. UPDATE! Jay has completed his first semester at Jacksonville University, and has made the difficult and bittersweet decision to return to Chicago. He has been studying mostly online while in Florida, and it was his decision to come back to Chicago and study remotely from here. We have secured him a short term lease in his own apartment. He is looking forward to friends, family and the 'comforts of home' while he works to get back on his feet and plot his next move. This certainly isn't an easy time, but it certainly will be an exciting one.
Let us celebrate Jill's 50th birthday (Thursday, November 19th) by making a contribution to Jay's future. Funds raised will assist Jay and his new beginnings in Chicago. Jay plans to work when he can as he attends online classes, but his living expenses (even on a budget) are a new reality.
Thank you for your previous generosity, and your willingness to see Jay into this next chapter.
(This GoFundMe will be open through December 1st.)
