Lower Aghada Pontoon Cork Harbour

The Lower Aghada Pier Developoment Group oversee the operation of th Lower Aghada Pontoon on the Eastern Shore of Cork Harbour. The entire process is funded by means of volunatry contributions and support of fundraisers in the locality. We are looking to raise funds to have the pontoon re-installed in the coming weeks, to cover insurance, rates and also to start to build a fund going forward that will ensure the continued viability of the pontoon in the long term.

Following a very successful public meeting last evening it was gareed to set up a Go Fund Me page to raise the necessary funds for this coming year and then to look at forming a boat club style group from our next AGM onwards so as that we can have a steady stream of funding in place so as to ensure that the pontoon can be kept in place in Lower Aghada for the community to use.
