Hello Everyone! Student parent’s and PTA are fundraising for Lower Creek Elementary School’s playground in Lenoir, North Carolina.

Our playground has not been refurbished in years. Some pieces are over 25 years old. The school’s students, admin, staff and PTA have fundraised several times to repair pieces to keep the playground from being condemned. Unfortunately, resources are limited. School budgets are very tight at the moment and this is a very big job to undertake. To build a new playground would cost around half a million dollars. Our playground has also become a safe public space over the years, and the wear and tear is astronomical. Several pieces must come out for our students safety.

We want to provide students with a safe, fun environment they can come between their daily activities. We want our children to be excited to leave their classroom behind to explore, express theirselves, grow and learn on the playground.
