Low-income family in need of power bill assistance

Hi, my name is Lydia-Marc, and I am trying to raise funds to cover the cost of my family's overdue power bills. I am the only currently employed person in the household of three, and due to my professionally diagnosed disabilities, I am unable to work full time. As such, we are in a constant struggle to balance the costs of living.

Our household is not properly insulated and our windows need replacing, so our bills are outrageously high. (We live in a low-income building owned by the government, and they refuse to fix this issue no matter how many times we call to complain!)

Nova Scotia Power is now demanding we pay off our overdue bills, with threats of cutting off the power if we do not pay up ASAP. We previously had some minor assistance from the Salvation Army, and they will not help us again. There are no other local charities willing to help us, either. So, I am turning to the internet.
