Low’s Cancer biopsy

If you know Low you know she loves to get up and shake her little tush every time you come into a room. Her and her last couple teeth bark at you if you walk by and you don’t say hi to her. She’s a goofy, sassy little mama who was used for breeding and rescued 3 years ago by Carly. Low can’t really see or hear, she’s had her uterus removed due to an ulcer that was 5 lbs in it and she has a slipped disc in her back.

Since October she has had a mass growing in her nipple. Today Carly got home from work and Low could barely walk—the nipple is now red, swollen, and irritated. Most of the other nipple now have masses in them now. There is an infection in at least one of them and we are waiting for a biopsy results and that service was $1065 for the mass in her largest nipple but they suspect it is cancerous.

If this mass is cancerous they would need to take a potentially larger chunk out to confirm how far along the cancer is and where it’s spread to.

On top of Low being sick Carly is struggling with a chronic illness that causes them to be in constant discomfort if it is too hot of too cold. With the weather being 93 recently it has made just simply exsisting a challenge for them. The medicine they need to help this is $700 with insurance and that’s on top of all the inhalers they need to breathe. Along side of all of these other health issues Carly has been dealing with the biggest health scare of their life and needs to get an endoscopy in order to get a biopsy of their large and small intestines($1.5k).

As you can imagine the financial burden of everything all happening at once is taking a toll on Carly as they just want to themselves and their dog to be healthy. Of course we know that when adopting a senior dog there are assumed risks, however these risks paired with Carlys declining health all at the same time are all adding to a very stressful situation.

Low and Carly need your help. We need help to cover her current vet bill ($1k) and future vet bills in order to provide Low with the comfortability to either recover($2k-$3k) or be taken care of for however long she has left with us. We will be fully transparent about where these funds are being allocated.
