On September 4, 2015, Linda Smallwood Smith passed away suddenly, leaving numerous family and friends heartbroken, especially her children Haley Smith Abbett, Cole Smith & Caleb Smith; three grandchildren; and sister Laney Smallwood Hicks.
Due to Linda's untimely death, a reserve for medical expenses and funeral costs had not been previously arranged. Laney has taken on an overwhelming amount of debt. With her hesitant and humble permission, a community of family and friends is gathering to lift a portion of this financial burden from her as she grieves the loss of her sister.
