FWC Lieutenant Patrick McDonald was an inspiration to hundreds of Broward College Students and Public Safety Recruits. Lt. McDonald instructed with extreme passion and devotion to legal studies and made students want to show up to his class for what would typically be viewed as an unfavorable subject matter. Lt. McDonald never left any student behind and was an incomparable role model to every student lucky enough to learn from him. Anyone touched by Lt. McDonald could tell you he was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to see any student succeed.

As a result of a recent tragic incident, Lt. McDonald ultimately succumbed to his injuries while being hospitalized for treatment.

I have been in contact with Lt. McDonald’s wife, who accepted my assistance in initiating this GoFundMe page to assist with covering the medical bills and funeral costs. All funds collected will be directly transferred to her.
