Lt. Schmitz Foundation - 2022 Scholarship Drive

This holiday season, we would like to ask you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Lt. David Schmitz Foundation. We hope to raise $8,477 this month to boost our 2023 Scholarship ability as well as help fund our Mission of honoring MEZr's legacy with the goal of funding several Adopt-a-Highway type projects to name prominent roads/highways after him in places where he lived. Last round, we awarded 25 scholarships to bright, aspiring young people to help them accomplish their dream of becoming a professional pilot. For those of you who don't know MEZr's story, he was killed on June 30, 2020 during a plane crash during a mission qualification training sortie at Shaw AFB, SC. He was a husband, dog dad, brother, son, Airman, fighter pilot, friend, selfless warrior and community leader.
