The American Museum of Aviation is a 501 c 3 non profit organization that highlights aviation and creates experiences for our future generations. The American Museum of Aviation offers the opportunity to tour a number of military, commercial jet, propeller driven airliner cockpits, Celebrity and Movie aircraft NASA Space programs and an in depth look at Groom Lake in the Las Vegas, NV area. The museum displays are made possible through donations and sponsorships from individuals and corporations.
Explore the dynamics of flight with hands on experience in the cockpits of actual military aircraft, propeller driven & jetliners that once flew for the airlines. Strap yourself into one of our cockpits and get the feel of what it’s like to fly an airliner.
We are now seeking funds to erect two buildings for our museum. Building #1 is our initial museum that will house the some commercial and military aircraft cockpits and displays. Our main offices & archives will also be housed in this building.
Our second Building #2 will be our main display facility for all exhibits. Inside this building a number of military, commercial jet, propeller driven airliner cockpits, Celebrity and Movie aircraft NASA Space programs and an in depth look at Groom Lake in the Las Vegas, NV area.. Our center piece will be the Los Angles Dodgers Boeing 720 team jetliner cockpit which is currently being restored in our temporary warehouse area in Las Vegas. Our third display area will be a Classic RT66 Hot Rod Museum that will display many classic hot rods and drag cars of the 50's, 60's and 70's.
We currently have an Office/Warehouse in Las Vegas, small storage area and our main storage of all our displays is Mojave, CA. Our goal is to place everything in one area and build a First Class Aviation Museum for our future generations. Our museum will offer something for everyone.
Join the American Museum of Aviation supporters and you'll meet a prestigious group of individuals and sponsors who share a passion for innovation, aviation, and education. When you support the American Museum of Aviation programs, your business or organization becomes one of our Partners in Aviation.
