Help Luca, a 13 year boy from Jersey City, NJ

Luca Gonzalez, a 13-year-old student at Cordero School, Jersey City NJ, is currently facing a serious life threatening illness. The unfortunate events began during him visiting his family in Geneva, Switzerland, where he fell critically ill and had to be urgently hospitalized. He was diagnosed with Spontaneous Pneumothorax, requiring immediate medical attention. Luca has already undergone one surgery but now requires a second procedure to remove part of his lung.

Luca's mother, is big giver who need our support now! Rene, the former owner of Bambino Chef, Community supporter who created many food pantris across the city and the current Mrs New Jersey, has flown to be by his side during this challenging time. However, due to Luca being an American citizen, the Swiss hospital is unable to accept his insurance. This has placed Luca's family in an unexpected situation, as they are now faced with unanticipated medical expenses.
