Contribute to surgery costs

Hi my name is Amanda. I am starting a donation page to help the Oliveri Family cover some of the cost of Luca’s unexpected surgery. Luca is a 4 year old French Bulldog, who is very active and has tons of energy. On Friday he started limping and couldn’t put pressure on his right back paw. Luca’s pain progressively got worse, that he had to go to the hospital. Once he arrived, the doctors prescribed pain medicine for him and referred him to a specialist informing the family that he would need an MRI and surgery. Between the hours of 3 to 5am Luca continued to cry and be in pain. The family noticed that he was now paralyzed from the waist down and could no longer move his back paws. Again he was rushed to the hospital. This is where he was diagnosis with IVDD. Luca had ruptured his disc in his lower back L2 and L3, compressing 50% of his spine leaving him paralyzed and in pain. The family was giving two options to allow his body to go completely paralyzed and put him down or to help save him and give him a second chance at life by doing the MRI and surgery. Luca is now out of surgery and doing well in recovery. As you know surgery is expensive, but it was an easy decision to save our beloved Luca. Help us give back and help out, thank you.
