We are Friends of the Annunziata's, along with many, many others. We are starting this for them because their beautiful son Luca suffered a tramatic brain injury. On Saturday, November 28 Luca was at the roller rink with his brothers and counsins. He slipped and fell and hit his head. He started not to feel well and became unresponsive. He was TraumaHawked to St. Mary's Hospital where he immediately was sent to surgery. Surgery successfully relieved the pressure on his brain. Luca is currently in a medically induced coma. His vital indicators are positive, but the medical team wants to keep him in this state for five days before any further decisions are made. The doctors jus want to give him time to heal with no stimulation. We know so many people want to help in some way, shape, or form. We do not know to the fullest extent how they may need our help, but thought that this would be the best way for all of us to give something back to them. If they may need help with medical bills, daily life expences or any little thing that we all know comes up unexpectedly, they will know that we could be here for them.
