Lucas Dads memorial headstone

My name is Michael Keller and I am Lucas Hagert’s stepfather.

Lucas father suddenly passed over 2 years prior to me having the privilege of becoming apart of Lucas’ life. Lucas just turned twelve and you can imagine what it would be like to lose a parent you love so dearly! Lucas father is buried at Saint Andrew’s cemetery on German Hill Rd in Dundalk MD. Unfortunately we weren’t able to come up with the lump some of money to have a headstone made so I personally made one out of wood to act as a landmark for Lucas to visit occasionally.

Today On July 30th 2022 Lucas went to visit his dad. When he got there the sign I had made and the all of the things Lucas had bought to place at the grave site were gone. Needless to say Lucas is heartbroken. We contacted the cemetery and they informed us that they knew what specific site we were speaking of and that they didn’t remove it but the lawn maintenance men may have. Unfortunately those sentimental items are lost forever. Lucas has his own lawn care business at 12 years old and immediately wanted to start saving for a real headstone that can’t be removed. I told him that as honorable as that is that he shouldn’t have to deal with that burden. So I thought I could take to go fund me to ask for help from our friends and family and others. The headstone is approximately $800. If you are feeling generous please help us get Lucas a real headstone to remember his father by and for Lucas to have the burden of losing his sentimental items again. Thank you all so kindly!
