Lucas Denommee Memorial Fund

Our names are Sam Deans and Nik Poplaski. Almost anyone who knows Lucas probably already knows us because it was pretty much impossible to see him anywhere without one or both of us right by his side. The three of us were inseparable, the absolute very best of friends, his family is our family and we want to do anything we can right now to help them in any way possible. We are starting this GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough money to completely cover funeral expenses for the family so they can focus on what is important right now - being together and giving our friend the goodbye that he truly deserves.

Lucas Richard Denommee was the brightest light in every room, he always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face, and his energy was truly unmatched. He made us laugh harder than anyone else and he always knew the right thing to say. Lucas was the kindest person and always reached out to people in need. He was fighting hard through his own battle, but still put others first, no matter what. Lucas was the greatest friend, brother, son, and person that anyone could have ever asked for. He was, and still is, the biggest inspiration, and gave people the strength to make it through their own battles. All of the memories and experiences we all had with him will never be forgotten, in fact, they will be ever cherished in our hearts as the best moments of our lives.

Lucas was a person that anyone could go to for anything, he always understood anyone's struggles no matter how big or small they were. Lucas had the most amazing sense of humor and always managed to make people laugh. When you were sad, Lucas kept everything and everyone in check, he always wanted to make sure that everyone was okay, because quite frankly, Lucas wan't okay himself. He fought a long and hard battle with mental illness, nobody could even begin to understand what Lucas was battling on the inside. He was a warrior, he always managed to keep his head high along with a smile on his face. Lucas loved everyone he was close to, from the bottom of his heart, he was the most genuine soul that entered any room. Every last moment spent with Lucas will forever be held in our hearts.

There are so many people out there who keep asking what they can do, how they can help, and that is directly a testament to the kind of person he was. Lucas made you want to be a better person and made you want to help, so right now this is what we can all do for him, and for his family, so please consider donating any amount (big or small), every little bit counts. Any amount raised over the actual funeral expenses will be put toward a future scholarship fund in Lucas' name so every single donation matters.
