Help Lucas attend FC Barcelona Academy (Spain)

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Lucas raise funds to support his trip to the FC Barelona Academy in Spain.

In early June, Lucas attended Barca Academy Soccer Camp in San Antonio. For six hours a day Lucas practiced and learned Barca methodology from trainers and coaches from the Spanish academy.

After being evaluated by Barca Academy official coaches, Lucas was part of a select group of players presented with the opportunity to travel to Spain to train at the exclusive FC Barcelona headquarters in October 2023.

This 10 day academy will be filled with once in a lifetime soccer and cultural experiences. Lucas will be participating in an advanced and intensive training program at the Barca Academy professional training facilities, staying in the athlete’s residence halls, and competing in friendlies against other top soccer clubs in the Barcelona area.

What started as a fun way for little three year old Lucas to expend all his extra energy, grew in to a complete love of soccer. He has spent the last nearly 8 years growing his skill set, playing for different club, CYO, and indoor soccer teams- sometimes being on multiple teams at once.

His dedication to training for this sport is admirable and inspiring, and he is constantly learning and growing to better himself both as a player and teammate.
