Lucas gain his independence with a custom chair

Hello my name is Lucas I’m 23 years old. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome a connective tissue disorder I continued to be as active as possible over the years my pain has increased, as had reductions in my mobility and increase in dislocations. I started using a wheelchair and I have had the same one since 16 I feel more free when using my chair I just want feel even more independent! I also have autism and a hearing loss. I am looking at getting a rgk chair custom made as I have slight restrictive growth which is lighter to push and with a power add on. I also have autism and osteogenesis imperfecta type 1. 

It also folds very small.

I also have a 3 year old son who is my world he is also your typical toddler and never stops moving and I want to be able to keep up with him. 

He loves sitting on my lap on my chair but I have to have some one else push me. Mainly because my shoulders can not go to far due to my EDS but also how heavy my current chair is. I’d like to go on more adventures with my son and not feel restricted. Our NHS is fantastic but there is a huge lack in wheelchair services.
