Help Lucia Acosta Recover from Lahaina Wild Fire

Hi, my name is Lucia Acosta and I'm a survivor of the Lahaina Wild Fires. This fundraiser will help raise funds for my husband, Luis Hernandez, and I. We've been living in Maui for the last 17 years. I was working at restaurant, and he was working as a housekeeper in Lahaina. The fires wiped out our jobs and rental home.

Hola, mi nombre es Lucia Acosta y soy sobreviviente de los incendios de Lahaina. Este fondo esta dirigido a solventar necesidades de mi esposo y yo. Hemos estado viviendo en Maui por los ultimos 17 anos. Yo trabajaba en un restaurante y el estaba trabajando como limpiador. Los fuegos demolieron nuestros trabajos y la propiedad que rentabamos.

I have no one to help us, nor am I used to asking for help. But assistance is limited and we are far from able to afford to get back to where we were before the fires. Our goal is to find a job and to be self sufficient again.

No tengo nadie que nos ayude, ni estoy acostumbrada a pedir ayuda. Pero la ayuda es limitada y estamos muy lejos de poder sostenernos para poder llegar al estado que estabamos antes de los incendios. Nuestra meta es encontrar un trabajo y ser auto suficientes de nuevo.
