Lucie Blue Tremblay Shoulder Injury
Donation protected
Just when I was getting excited to tour the new CD "So Many Wows" and head to National Women's Music Festival I now need medical attention. As wonderful as Nova Scotia healthcare can be, at this time, it is not so good for me. The system's delay in treatment will affect me in playing guitar in who knows how many ways.
As many of you know I need my left shoulder, (who doesn't?)
The ER proved to be disappointing. The comment from the ER doctor "I was getting old" is what I remembered the most. Forget the fact that playing music it is my love, my soul and my livelihood. An MRI appointment for a year and probably no surgery for 5 years here in Nova Scotia.
So I took matters into my own hands and found a private clinic and paid for an MRI.
We are now planning our dates to fly, and have appointments scheduled.
We have planned to be in the US for 5-6 weeks which will involve hopefully PT as well.
I plan on being back and kicking for the spring.
I will be at National Women's Music Festival in 2024.
I appreciate your support and look forward to working again on the road.
Donations will help support our flights, car rental, housing and loss of income while we are away and while I work on getting back in time for spring. I also want to thank my incredible Patreon donors.
I will keep you all up to date.
Thank you for all your love and support.
