LUCKY BARQUEZ

Hi, my name is Joanna and together with my co workers from Lidl Thomas Street we are starting Gofundme account to help out our friend, LUCKY BARQUEZ who had an accident on 04.09.22.

Lucky is 23 years old. He's from Philippines and he moved in to Ireland when he was just 3 years old. Couple of years ago his parents returned to Philippines and he has been supporting himself since. He works two jobs. One of them is Lidl and another one is bike shop. He's a great worker and outstanding person. He's greatest passion is bikes. He has unlimited love for it. As he says first he rode a bike and then he started to walk :)

On 04.09.22 while racing in Wicklow Mountains horrible accident occurred. Lucky hit the tree while going down very fast, his helmet broke in half and that's all he can remember.

Right now he's in St. Vincent Hospital in Dublin. He was diagnosed with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. Till today doctors are not sure if he's ever going to walk again.

Lucky is very precious friend and co worker to all of us. We want to support him in every kind of way we can. He needs a lot of rehabilitation and best care possible to return to good health. That's why we are asking anyone and everyone to donate. Every penny will be highly appreciated.
