Lucky Strikes Support Fund

This support fund is to help fund the struggle of injustice that seems to be isolating operations of certain small businesses. Lucky Strikes is not the only business that is suffering in our community. Deb Wohle is the owner of Lucky Strikes, a local Apache Junction establishment where people gather to eat, drink, and enjoy their community. She has put everything on the line to operate in her small town, a small business that employs 6 people and routinely gives back to her community. Now it is all in jeopardy, not due to COVID-19, but because of Arizona's arbitrary and likely unconstitutional reaction to the virus. By executive order in March 2020, Arizona's Governor significantly restricted the operation of establishments like Lucky Strikes. Deb did everything by the book, followed the restrictions, only provide take out orders, and did her best to keep business afloat. She now finds herself in a battle for the survival of her dream. She has been charged with a criminal offense, in the Government's view, for violating an unclear and vague executive order that gave no solid direction to small business owners stripped of their livelihood with a mere 8 hours notice. Deb now faces up to 6 months in jail for trying to earn a living. Adding insult to  filed injury the Government has also filed a  complaint against her liquor license for creating an "unsafe environment" for her patrons even though not one stepped inside her establishment. Deb could give up but she won't. She is committed to fighting the legal battles on all fronts, but she needs help. Legal fees will pile up while her business remains shut down against her will. Deb is looking for help to fund a legal defense, to continue to keep her employees on board and to keep Lucky Strikes open. She fights for liberty and small business entrepreneurs everywhere.
