Lucy's Lemonade Stand 2024
Donation protected
September is childhood cancer awareness month, and this September the Donmoyer family is raising funds for pediatric cancer research!
Our daughter Lucy was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma in April of 2020. She completed her treatment in December of 2021, but relapsed in February of 2022. We lost our sweet Lucy in September of 2023. While she finished her fight, ours is just beginning. We want to find and fund a cure for pediatric cancer and we need your help!
2022 was the first year we did Lucy's Lemonade Stand and were able to raise $22,090 through 23 lemonade stands.
In 2023 we coordinated over 60 lemonade stands across the country and in Italy & Puerto Rico and raised $100,000! This money went straight to a neuroblastoma research grant
As always, 100% of the funds we raise will go to Fourth and Gold, a local Jacksonville non-profit started by one of Lucy's nurses who is sick and tired of seeing kids suffer from the same limited amount of toxic treatment options available to kids fighting cancer. In 4 years, Fourth and Gold has raised enough money to fund 4 research grants aimed at developing less toxic treatments for 3 specific types of pediatric cancer.
We've created this GoFundMe as another donation option for people who want to support our cause who may not be able to physically get a glass of lemonade from one of our Lucy's Lemonade Stands.
