Ludwig’s Medical Cost

Hi!

On October 12, 2023, my baby Ludwig had to undergo surgery for a blockage in his intestines from eating about 3 feet of ribbon (he’s not the smartest cat in the world…). My choice was a gamble; wait and see if it would pass thorough him, which included the possibility of further complications (including death) or getting the ribbon removed ASAP. My ultimate decision was to remove the blockage. After the procedure, the doctor told me it was in fact too large to have passed though him thus the surgery was necessary.

If you know anything about me you know my kitties, Nutmeg and Ludwig, are my world. I’ve waited my whole life to have animals and now that I have them, they are everything to me. They help so much with my anxiety and overall happiness. I had to do what was necessary, and in this case that meant surgery.

I am in debt because of the cost of the procedures, especially while living in New York. I wasn’t expecting to suddenly drop $3500, so it has taken its toll. I’ve been though some financial troubles this year after my ex-partner split up with me without notice and left me with his part of the rent. Any amount of donation is so, SO appreciated.
