Luis A. Gutierrez Memorial Fund

There are no words to describe the pain that my family is feeling with the loss of our son, brother, and friend. Luis was a great soul that was battling with a mental illness that led him into an addiction.

He tried his best to live his life to the fullest, and I think he succeeded! He was always there when you needed him, and was the life of the party. He had a contagious laugh, and his presence was so radiant that it lit up the room. He loved to dance and make you feel happy and alive.

His death came as a surprise and shock. He passed away in a hospital in Ohio and we are working on getting him back home to Stamford. Our hope is to get him to El Salvador, next to his father as he had wished.
