Luis canizales
I am ashamed and embarrassed that I’m even doing this but it is with deep regret that I have to announce the passing of my father Luis Canizalez due to covid-19.
Even if you don’t donate something which is fine at least take a moment of your time and get to know the man that raised me and who made me the man I am today.
When my mom came to this country in about a year or so she met Luis and she told him she had a son in honduras. He could of easily walked away but no he decided to help her and bring me over. of course
at first I was stubborn kid and wanted nothing to do with the guy
but yet he stayed and raised me has his own. But we still didn't see eye to eye in the first few years.
eventually I grew up and little by little I started to realize that he was always there for me
I graduated from high school he was there
I got my job at the fdny he was there
I got married he was there, my son jeren was born he was there, he always called me his son and told me how he was proud of all the accomplishments I did,
the one regret I do have and wish I could of done it sooner was that I wish I called you dad and not just luis you where my dad from day one there are so many more memories I wish to share but not enough time.
please everyone be safe out there and protect your loved ones because tomorrow is never promised .
