LUIS CORDOVA CANCER

Dear Friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I am setting up a go fund me to help my sister-in-law, Luz, and her husband, Luis, through a very difficult time. In August, Luz and Luis will be married for 24 years. They have 3 Sons, Luisito, Christian and Gabriel. He is an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and uncle.

November 2023, Luis started having symptoms of pain in his upper left abdominal. After exams and testing, the gastroenterologist did not find anything and only gave him medication.

After a few months of taking the medication, he began to feel worse. On February he did additional testing and an MRI.

On February 18, their lives forever changed. At the age of 50, they were given the devastating news that Luis had Pancreatic cancer – stage 3.

In March, Luis had his first chemotherapy infusion. His treatment is scheduled for every other week between doctors appointments. He has also been receiving other infusions, ozone therapy and acupuncture to help relieve the effects of chemo.

Luis has shown tremendous grit, determination, and courage in battling his way through chemotherapy. While Luis’s pain is manageable, the side effects of the treatment have been making him tired, nauseous, and have reduced his appetite. As a result, it is challenging for him to perform his daily tasks.

Between Chemotherapy, and other treatments the financial burden takes its toll. The funds raised will help Luis and Luz pay bills and relieve mounting financial pressures.
