Hi, we are here to help a close family friend raise money for the cost of a funeral and transportation of her beloved brother from Minnesota back home to Kansas.

Our friend, Irene Perez, whose older brother (Luis) has passed away suddenly in a head-on collision early Saturday morning around 2:30am when he was on his way home from work. Luis was a devoted father to his sweet boy, Nicolas (2yo). He was the most caring individual, who looked out for others before himself in every situation. He was selfless and had the biggest heart.

Irene and Luis had a special bond through their shared birthdays. A year apart, they were best friends, they talked everyday, (in fact, Irene spoke to him just 2 hours before the accident).

He was her other half who she looked up to.

During this difficult time, we want to relieve Irene and her family from any financial hardships. No one should go through that while grieving their beloved ones.

An average funeral could cost anywhere from $6000-$20,000. And the cost to transport a deceased from one state to another is around $2,500-$3,000. Not including Irene and her family’s travel expenses (mom in Kansas, Irene in Texas), and time off work without “Paid Time Off.”

Within our family, we are anticipating to raise at least $6,000.
