Papá Vazquez Cancer Treatments and Recovery Funds

Hi all, my family and I have recently received the heartbreaking news that our dad, Luis Vazquez, has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. This type of cancer targets the plasma cells and can damage the bones , immune system, kidneys, and red blood cell count. Although this disease is not curable, with the proper treatment it doesn’t have to be terminal.

Our dad, who is 64, has worked most of his life as a truck driver and massage therapist. He is currently working for a school district where he loves his job and his coworkers. Through every step of his life, he has helped and touched the lives of so many people who are now rooting for him.

He is fighting especially hard for his wife, his three kids, and his first grandson who is on the way.

As you may imagine, there are many unprecedented expenses that we need your help with. As the main provider for his family, these funds will help alleviate any financial stress that he and the family will endure.

Hola a todos, mi familia y yo recibimos recientemente la desgarradora noticia de que a nuestro papá, Luis Vázquez, le han diagnosticado mieloma múltiple. Aunque esta enfermedad no es curable, con el tratamiento adecuado no tiene por qué ser terminal.

Nuestro padre, que tiene 64 años, ha trabajado la mayor parte de su vida como camionero y masajista. Actualmente trabaja para un distrito escolar donde ama su trabajo y a sus compañeros de trabajo. En cada paso de su vida, ha ayudado y tocado las vidas de tantas personas que ahora lo apoyan.

Está luchando especialmente duro por su esposa, sus tres hijos y su primer nieto que está en camino.
