Hello! My name is Luis Anselmi, from Caracas, Venezuela - I'm 22 years old and music is my passion! For the past 12 years I've been studying music formally through the Piano and “Cuatro Venezolano”, my principal instrument.
On 2016 I got admitted into Berklee College of Music, honored with a 50% scholarship on tuition for my online audition and compositions.
THE PROBLEM: Unfortunately, due to the social, economical and political crisis that Venezuela currently faces, including hyperinflation, food and medicines shortage, high rate criminality and exchange currency control, It became impossible for me to pay for the rest of tuition and expenses at Berklee.
However!...
THE PLAN: As part of the Berklee/Holland agreement, I can begin my first two years of studies at Holland College and then transfer to Berklee. check here
THE OPPORTUNITY: Holland College in Canada accepted me after reviewing my audition, and the total cost of tuition, residence and living expenses for a year is only about US$16,000 !!!
THE SCHOLARSHIP: on July 10, 2017 The Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation, helping me pay for the whole first year of tuition, honored me with a Tuition Assistance Award!
All that’s left:
I'm asking for your help to recollect the rest of the funds I'm missing to pay for rent, living expenses, food and clothes while at Canada, and also for the plane ticket.
When and Where:
Holland College is located at Charlottetown in Canada’s Province “Prince Edward Island”. I would begin my studies the 5th of September of 2017 at the Music Performance Program, so I’m looking forward to recollect the rest of the funds before that date.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Luis Anselmi, de Caracas, Venezuela - Tengo 22 años y la música es mi pasión! Durante los últimos 12 años he estado estudiando música formalmente a través del Piano y "Cuatro Venezolano", mi instrumento principal.
En 2016 fui admitido en Berklee College of Music, con una beca del 50% para matrícula gracias a mi audición en línea y composiciones.
EL PROBLEMA: Desafortunadamente, debido a la crisis social, económica y política que Venezuela enfrenta actualmente, incluyendo la hiperinflación, la escasez de alimentos y medicinas, la criminalidad de alta tasa y el control de divisas cambiarias, me resultó imposible pagar el resto de la matrícula y los gastos en Berklee.

EL PLAN: Como parte del tratado Berklee / Holland, puedo comenzar mis dos primeros años de estudios en Holland College y luego transferirme a Berklee. compruebe aquí
LA OPORTUNIDAD: Holland College en Canadá me aceptó después de revisar mi audición, y el costo total de la matrícula, vivienda y gastos personales durante un año es sólo alrededor de US $ 16.000!
LA BECA: el 10 de julio de 2017 La Fundación Cultural Latin Grammy, ayudándome a pagar todo el primer año de matrícula, me honró con un Premio de Asistencia Educativa.
Lo que falta:
Estoy pidiendo su ayuda para recolectar el resto de los fondos que necesito para pagar el alquiler, los gastos personales, la comida y la ropa durante mi estadía en Canadá, y también para el boleto de avión.
Cuando y donde:
Holland College se encuentra en Charlottetown, en la provincia de Canadá "Prince Edward Island". Comenzaría mis estudios el 5 de septiembre de 2017 en el programa “Music Performance”, así que estoy deseando poder recolectar el resto de los fondos antes de esa fecha.
