Luke Anencephaly Angel

Luke is an angel ,whom due to having Anencephaly , we were blessed to know for just 17 hours. He was the son of Alexandra Manguno and Chris Ditta . In a world where it doesn’t take much to take the easy way out , Alex and Chris chose the hard way. They chose Life. Luke was diagnosed early on with Anencephaly. This is a very rare disease (1in10,000) in which the baby is missing major portions of its brain , skull , and scalp. There is no cure and most die before birth. Those who do make it until birth are alive for a few hours. There was one case in which the child survived for about 8 years and this gave Alex and Chris the courage and hope that maybe just maybe Luke could also survive for longer than most. Regardless of the amount of time Luke lived , his soul had a vessel in which to be taken in to be with His Heavenly Father . This account is to help Alex and Chris pay for the burial expenses and hospital cost incurred for Luke. As well as to help them with time lost at work due to the enormous mental strain they endured throughout the journey. God bless you all and Thanks !!
