Luke Bice's funeral

Hi, My name is Chelstine Bice.

You might remember my family 5 years ago, the Bice family murder/ suicide in Hudson Ohio. My father in law shot my mother in law Kristi multiple times and then himself. Leaving behind their three boys.  They were lead out of the house by their dad to meet him at fun and stuff, my father in law was hiding behind the hosue until they left he then kicked the door in and killed her. My husband (their half brother) and I took them in the day their parents died. We have been raising them since March 19th 2016. I am unfortunately making one of these because the oldest passed away. His name was Luke Bice, he was 24. after being the one who found his parents and all the heart ache him and his 3 brothers have been living life and flourishing.

 

Luke went out drinking with some friends Friday night and was waiting on an Uber when he couldn't find one, he decided to start walking down the road. He walked until he froze to death. He was found behind a empty house.  It was very cold that night. We dont know all of the details of what happened besides he was walking and because it was in the negatives it looks like he froze to death.

 

There was a go fund me set up to help take care of them after my in laws passed. Unfortunately the person in charge of the go fund me never gave the money to us or the boys due to personal differences/ feelings/ ideas they had about us. 

My husband and I have been raising them on our own these past 5 years on our income alone, my husband their brother is in college to help better all of our lives he has 3 months left. I have been supporting the house by myself these last 13 months while he is in school. We are barely making ends meet.

 

The cost of the funeral is way out of our budget. He has life insurance but there is no beneficiary and it's going to his estate which needs to go to probate. 


Any bit helps, it will help have a funeral for him, anything over the amount will go to other expenses he had.
Thank you all so much in advance we hate to have to ask for help its not in the Bice nature they don't ask for help. 

This will not bring him home or answer any questions we have but we would like a proper funeral for him.

Luke leaves behind his two younger brothers, his older brother,  myself and his two young nieces who  say their uncles are their brothers.  
 This is a pain of not only loosing a brother but a son too.
