Help Luke with Medical and Prosthetic Hand
Donation protected
On behalf of our dear nephew, Luke O’Heidhin, (Hynes) we are starting a “GoFundMe” page to help support his recovery. Luke suffered a devastating loss during his Spring Break while working at a construction site. His right hand was completely severed. His younger brother, Kyle, bravely intervened to save Luke's hand but unfortunately his hand was too damaged. Our entire family is suffering but we are all thankful he is alive.
With the help of San Francisco CPMC’s best reconstructive and micro surgeons, Luke will have mobility in his wrist which can better facilitate the use of a prosthetic hand once healing from surgery is complete.
Luke is a senior at Sir Francis Drake High School, San Anselmo. He is a hardworking 4.0 GPA student athlete; playing varsity soccer and he is also a track team member competing in long jump, triple jump, and 100 meter sprints. He is much loved among friends and teammates. We are proud that Luke has been accepted to several colleges and we are hopeful he will be able attend in the fall or spring term. Luke is mentally strong and dedicated and we know he will fight diligently to recover and begin a “new normal” life. Luke’s great attitude, strength and determination have been an inspiration and source of pride for all of us. Although the road to physical and emotional healing will be long and difficult, Luke is blessed with loving family and friends and amazing medical care.
Your support is needed to help with medical expenses not covered by insurance. No amount is too small. Your help is truly appreciated by all of us who love and admire Luke! God Bless you and THANK YOU!
