Luke Henry Will Win

Luke was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread to his liver in early June 2019. At age 38, no one expected this news. Luke was feeling really sick on Memorial day weekend. They assumed it was the stomach bug that their son Carter had earlier in the week. As Luke's symptoms elevated by the third day he decided to go to urgent care. From there they sent him to the ER as he had a pain in his lower side. The doctors performed a CT scan looking for kidney stones. When they reviewed the results they delivered the devastating news that there was a tumor in his colon and many spots on his liver. Over the next week, further testing confirmed the news that Luke had Stage 4 Colon cancer. He is a loving husband and father, a musician, an engineer, a Jayhawk, a traveler, skier and in general an incredible human.
His journey in this battle against cancer has just begun as Luke starts chemo for the next 6 months. There will be many steps after the first cycle of chemo to win the fight. With the fierce support of family in KS, MN and NY, and many friends, we have the strength of prayer and positivity to help carry Luke through this. Although positive, his future is unpredictable and unfortunately he will never live cancer free. With that said, please donate to help the Henrys with the unexpected and non-covered costs that will arise in their future.
Keep sending your positive prayers and energy his way as he fights like hell! Luke will kick cancers ass and we have no doubt Luke will win!
