Luke Hepworth & Nottingham QMC Major Trauma Unit

Donation protected
In Memory of Luke Hepworth, this page has been set up to raise funds for Luke's send off and the NHS Nottingham Queens Medical Centre, Major Trauma Unit who battled valiantly for Luke and provided support to family and friends on the tragic day.

On Tuesday 28th June 2022, Luke lost his life doing what he loved on a motorbike track day at Donnington Park. The tragic incident can only be described as a ‘racing incident’ with no rider thought to be at fault.

Luke's send off will be on the 29th July 2022. For those who would like to pay their respects, please message his brother Scott through GoFundMe. Please note the venue has a capacity, however there are screens externally to watch the send off.

Words cannot describe the pain, heartbreak, tragedy, and the chasm that has been left.

Luke was one of the most intelligent, practical, thoughtful, and selfless people we’ve ever met. He did anything he set his mind too (when he could concentrate for long enough) and was the life and soul of everywhere he went to, with that zest for life we all wish we had. You had weird and wonderful ways which everyone loved you for. To say he made our lives, and many others lives easier is an understatement. The sad thing is he didn’t even know how much he did for people.

He worked so hard throughout his life always building for the future and was laying the foundations to set up his own business, Hepworth Homes. It finally seemed like his life was in a good place and had a wonderful girlfriend Kristina in his life too and was in ways slowing down to build their life together. It’s such a loss he can’t fully reap what he sowed.

For those that knew Luke, life will be emptier without him. You had no idea how much you were loved by so many people. So many people have already said you were their most loyal and dependable best mate, which is a testament to you.
Thank you for bringing us along for the ride, in Scott’s case, quite literally. Scott was always in awe of your wake, often frustrated and envious of how much you fit in to your life and made it seem almost easy.

For those of you who knew Luke will have undoubtedly heard of his lockdown project, the camper van. The lockdown project that took us 3 lockdowns. Scott will forever cherish the camper van we built together. When I say we built, you were the architect, and I was the labourer.

There will never be anyone like you our lives and others. You will be forever missed.

You shined so bright and always lived your life in the fast lane. You lived life like you should.

We love you.

Ride easy with Dad on the other side.
