Luke Toyne's Ecuador 2025 Expedition

Hello my name is Luke and I am fundraising for a 4 week Camps International expedition to Ecuador in 2025. I will be spending time working on environmental projects in the Amazon rainforest and then heading off to the Galapagos Islands, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to experience nature that inspired Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.

The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:

- Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Ecuador

- Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Ecuador

- Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.

This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills such as working as part of a team, communication and language, resilience and low-level construction skills.

I would be extremely grateful for any and all contributions you can make towards my fundraising.

I am most looking forward to living alongside the locals and absorbing their culture, food and friendship.
