Luke's Memorial Stone
Donation protected
A heartfelt thank you to all of you for giving to Luke's memorial boulder. There were a total of 123 separate donations, some by groups of people. We are overwhelmed by all of your support. Thank you! We hope the etching will be done by Christmas, and plan to intern Luke's ashes by his boulder at that time. For those of you living near, we hope you will find solace in the memorial garden for years to come, alongside our family. God's strength & peace to us all. Dirk & Carolyn, Hannah, Jesse, Lydia
You can help to remember Luke forever. We are raising funds for a memorial stone honoring Luke along the path of the Rocky Mountain Memorial Garden at Horan & McConaty on the corner of E Dartmouth Ave and S Parker Road . In this way anyone will be able to visit at anytime in a peaceful space in the outdoors surrounded by nature. See a video of the memorial garden here. video
Thank you! We have already reached the amount of $1,800 for a sandstone paver! Our original hope was to etch Luke's name on a boulder in the garden, which would fittingly symbolize Luke's life. A large boulder costs over $7,300. (Includes, memorial inscription, perpetual care and upkeep, fees, sales tax, etc.) This is our new goal together.
