Luke's Skydive for Birmingham Dogs Home

Hi, I’m Luke. I’m going to be completing a skydive from 14,000 feet in the Lake District, raising money for Birmingham Dogs Home (BDH). The skydive will now take place on Sunday 23rd March 2025 after numerous weather postponements due to adverse weather condition during Summer 2024.

Anyone who knows me will remember how terrified I used to be of flying, therefore jumping from a plane is something that pushes me way out of my comfort zone!

Birmingham Dogs Home is a charity close to mine and my families’ hearts, after we rehomed our rescue dog Star from them in October 2020. She has brought endless amounts of joy into our lives, and giving her a second chance at life has been rewarding for us all. This was made possible by the inspiring work BDH undertake.

BDH work tirelessly 24 hours a day, every day of the year to rescue and care for dogs across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire, caring for and rehoming dogs of all shapes and sizes. BDH survive through the generosity and support from the general public and local communities, and any donation however big or small will be greatly appreciated, particularly in the current economic climate. Every penny really does count and your donation will help keep a homeless dog warm and safe until they find their forever home. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to BDH.
