Luke’s Trip to Volleyball Nationals
Donation protected
Luke has been offered the chance at a great opportunity. He has always wanted to play Club volleyball, but it was just not an expense that we were able to take on. He has been working as a swim instructor at Goldfish while taking all honors and AP classes and playing 3 sports. His goal was to save to be able to play Club during his senior year.
During his last game of the regular season, the opposing coach approached our coach about Luke. This coach also coaches a Club team that is headed to nationals in Florida on July 1. They lost their setter and had been searching for one. He told our coach that he was very impressed with Luke’s hands, that he was a better setter than the one they had, and that, most importantly, he was obviously a wonderful teammate.
We have been in discussions with them to see if we could afford for him to go. With more time, the money could be earned and saved. We lack that time.
Luke asked me to reach out to my friends to see if they have work that he can do to quickly earn the money. Right now, time is not on our side with that either.
However, HE IS MORE THAN WILLING TO WORK OFF ANY CONTRIBUTIONS MADE!!! And, I will too!!! Let us know what you need to have done.
Would you please consider helping him with this endeavor? I am very hesitant to ask, but as we are on a VERY short deadline, I can not think of another way to try to make this happen for him.
Thank you!!!!!!!! ❤️
