Lukey's Warriors

If you know the Blank family then you know what wonderful parents Cole and Wendi are to their three boys Beau, Jake and Luke. Luke is the youngest of the three.
To say I love my nephews would be a huge understatement. They mean the world to me.
In early April, our family recieved some life changing news about Luke. After complaining to his mom and dad about migraine headaches and seeing double, Luke went to the eye Doctor in Dallas, Texas. During the eye exam, the doctor noticed something and stopped the exam. She told mom (my sister) to immediately go to the ER of the Childrens Hospital in Dallas where a team of people would be waiting. My sister and Luke arrived minutes later and met with the team. They performed a scan and within minutes had the results: Luke had a very large brain tumor (6 CM). Over the past 5 weeks, we have learned it is an Anaplastic Ependymoma grade 3. It is extremely aggressive and rare.
Luke (Lukey) is 5 years old. He has such a great personality and loves his two older brothers, parents and family. He is your average energetic 5 year old boy, full of life, and loves to play soccer.
Luke has already had 3 brain surgeries in 4 weeks. Since his cancer is so aggressive, treatment has to be aggressive. He still needs to have chemo, a fourth brain surgery and radiation. Wendi and Cole looked in to St. Jude and Luke has been accepted. St. Jude is located in Memphis, TN. and where they will do all remaining treatment. The treatment at St. Jude will be free, but there are many other costs to bear plus the medical bills for treatment Luke has already received.
Please consider donating to my sister and her family. Any donation, large or small, will help. Please share this with anyone who can help.
Thankfully, there is an army of warriors out there ready to help us fight, so let's get to it! Thank you in advance for your consideration and/or donation.
