My name is Luisa Interiano Perez and I'm 28 years old. I'm happily married to my High School Sweetheart John Perez. We've been together for 12 years and married for 9 years. He's my rock during this hard journey I'm currently going through. I started Dialysis in May of 2009. My Kidneys failed because of my High Blood Pressure. I'm going 3 times a week (Mon, Wed and Fri) for Dialysis Treatment for 3.5 hours. After 7 years of Dialysis it's no longer an option for me to try and live a normal life. I've hopes of one day not being on Dialysis 3 times a week for hours at my young age. I've hopes of being a recipient to a Good Kidney that can return my chances at living a fairly normal life. I'm an only child to a strong amazing single Mother who left her normal life and is unemployed to make sure I get the best care after my tiring treatment. They're days I've to drag myself out of bed or days I simply can't sleep. My Husband is the only working person in our household. My insurance doesn't cover all medications now let alone after transplant medications. As crazy as it sounds I don't qualify for Medical because of the whole Obama Care. I wake up everyday looking forward to live my day as normal as I possibly can without complains but one can only handle so much.
