Luna Dea Birth Suite

Hello everyone! My name is Tayla aka Mamasaurus and I am opening up the first ever birth centre in Fort McMurray, with some help from you.

Luna Dea Birth Suite aims to provide a safe and comfortable space for families and their care providers to use birthing their baby. The space is specifically set up to promote and support natural birth physiology.

The birthing suite is a multi room space including birth specific aids such as birth balls, stools and a pool. The space is equipped with all midwifery supplies needed for out of hospital birth including those for emergencies.

I am raising money to cover the rent of a space, the initial set up costs, as well as all of the supplies needed to provide the service to women in Fort McMurray

If you choose to support this project, you are not only putting money towards equipment and furniture, but you are a part of something great! Offering this space to women can influence their birth experience, and potentially change their life. Birth is not just about the delivery of a baby, but rather the birth of a mother. Coming together to create a safe and comfortable space that promotes physiology will encourage women empowerment and growth.
