Luna Rose Biliary Atresia Fight

Donation protected
Our precious little daughter Luna Rose sifuentes , she was 4 months old when diagnosed with a rare incurable liver disease, Biliary atresia. She was admitted 3/29/23 in Dallas children’s hospital .  We learned 3/31/23 she had to get a biopsy of her liver and needed a Kasai procedure to try and extend her chances to grow before having to get a liver transplant . The surgeon stated she has severe damage to her liver and it was very hardened. She developed ascites swelling in her abdomen  and had a drain placed 4/7/23  to drain her abdomen  of the infection. They placed a NG tube ,  in her nose , 4/10/23 and she will likely keep this till transplant  time possibly  by the end of this year depending on how her liver holds on.
We will have a GI specialist in Lubbock thats working with Dallas drs ,  we will have to report to and do biweekly lab test  to keep a eye on her liver enzymes.  And monthly visits to Dallas for check ups with liver team . When her liver starts to fail we will be referred to the transplant team back in Dallas.  We are asking for donations and or help with transportation cost and room/food cost for these trips…
