Luna Rose Foundation (Southport)

Hi! My name is Luna Rose age 10, and I’m really excited to share that I’m starting my own charity in the wake of the horrific event I was involved in.

I was left with life threatening injuries after the attack on the 29th July in Southport and had to be airlifted to Manchester childrens hospital as I wouldn’t of made it to Alder hey without immediate blood transfusion only the air ambulance could provide.

I received multiple blood transfusions and immediate major life saving surgery to repair internal damage and sadly I lost my spleen and will be on life long medication twice a day, after a lengthy stay in critical care I’ve required further operations also.

The Air Ambulance that saved my life is charity run as is the Ronald McDonald accommodation that allowed my immediate family to stay close to me and my mum, this will be my first fundraiser.

Another important part of my charity is to support in helping provide so many other thing that are charity provided in critical care and recovery such as hair kits, toothbrushes, fans, arts and crafts, blankets and sanitary products.

My goal with this charity is to help as many people as I can and bring our community together. I want to spread love and kindness everywhere and eliminated the fear as I feel like this event has given me a purpose and determination to strive to help others.
