Luna Sage in memory of her daddy, Daniel

My baby brother Daniel became a father to Luna Sage last November at the age of 25. Nine months later, at age 26, her daddy was taken away from her.

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Daniel was taking a leisurely, solo motorcycle ride, as he often did when he had an early dismissal from work. On his way home, a negligent driver pulled out of a gas station repair shop, did not look, and intercepted his bike on a straight line road.

Daniel lost his life, and I find comfort in knowing he was doing something he loved. But in that instant, a poor decision made by a complete stranger took him far too soon from his 9-month-old daughter, his girlfriend, our parents, myself, our brother, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Our mom has asked for no flowers. She would like for everyone who loved Daniel to rally behind him to take care of his daughter. We ask, as a family, that everyone respect our privacy at this time as we prepare arrangements.
