Luna’s Dog Attack Vet Expenses

Luna was viciously attacked by a pitbull at a local coffee shop near our home in Miami, Florida.  In the the midst of the chaos, while trying to protect Luna, the other party fled the scene with no trace of name or identification to hold them responsible for their dog’s vicious behavior and Luna’s medical bills. We are working with police to identify who these two men were day and night and will not stop until they get the justice that they deserve. 

A little over a year ago, I rescued Luna from a  puppy mill, and since then she has become my entire world. Luna is more than just a pet, she is my family. She has helped get me through dark times and I truly believe that these events go beyond saving her, because she has truly saved me. She is like a child to me, and like any parent, I wouldn’t think twice about putting myself in harms way to protect that which I love more than anything in this world. Over the last year, she has taught me so many things about myself that I would never have seen if it wasn’t for this tiny creature to have found its way into my life.

These events have put Luna and myself through an enormous amount of trauma that no person or animal should ever have to go through. My biggest desire in all of this is to remind people not to take any moment for granted, because in the blink of an eye, your world can be turned up-side-down
