Luna’s medical bills & Radiation Treatment

Our beautiful Luna turned 7 this March.
Ryan and I have loved this beautiful girl since she was a puppy. Nine months ago we bought our first home with a yard for Luna to play in and a big window for her to lay in. A few weeks ago Luna had an injury which lead to a sudden onset of partial blindness.
Here's Luna's Story:
On April 15th Luna's eyes turned outwards and her pupils stopped dilating. We contacted the vet and monitored her symptoms.
On April 16th we brought Luna to the ER as her symptoms were worsening. The vet prescribed medications to hopefully stop the inflammation.
On April 22nd we returned to the vet. The medications did not help her eyes and we were referred to an optometrist.
On April 24th we attended an ophthalmologist appointment for a consultation. They prescribed more medication.
On April 25th we had to go back to the ophthalmologist to have Luna sedated and to do an ERG white flash test. There was activity in her retinas but her diagnosis was fully blind in the left eye and partially blind in her right eye. We were told there was a communication issue with the brain so we were referred to a neurologist.
Luna's symptoms started to worsen throughout the week.
On April 29th we woke up and Luna was fully blind in both eyes. Her eyes were facing inward. Her pupils were not reacting to the light. She was scared, bumping into furniture and it was clear her vision was completely gone.
On May 1st she had her neurology consultation & appointment. She had an MRI performed to check her brain. They had to keep her on IV fluids, steroids, gastro-protectants and anti-nausea meds over night. The diagnosis was a mass lesion within her brain on her left frontal lobe sitting on her optic nerve.
On May 2nd the specialist prescribed medication to aid with her appetite & Anti-inflammatory & doses of steroids to manage Luna's symptoms.
Luna is currently blind with only a small chance of getting her vision back. We have an appointment in a few weeks with the neurologist and a follow up MRI within the next few months.
Luna has been referred to OVC in Guelph for radiation therapy in hopes of shrinking the inoperable mass.
We are hoping you can help us in any way to cover some of the unexpected costs already incurred and the future care she will need. If you can't at this time please share this and keep Luna in your prayers.
We will do anything to give Luna the medical care she needs to live a long and healthy life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for donating what you can to help our little girl.
Any extra funds that are raised will be shared to other pets in need with unexpected medical bills.
