Lung Cancer Medical Expenses for Arnett Hylton

Dear friends and kind strangers, I am Shelly, and I created this fundraiser for my grandma.

I am writing to you today to share the story of my beloved grandmother, Arnett Hylton (80), who is currently battling lung cancer. As you may already know, cancer is a disease that affects not only the physical health of the person but also their emotional and financial well-being. Our family has been hit hard by the diagnosis, and we are doing everything we can to support my grandmother through this difficult time.

My grandmother has always been the backbone of our family. She is a strong and compassionate woman who has dedicated her life to taking care of her loved ones. She has always been there for us when we needed her, and now it's our turn to be there for her. She was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago, and it has been a rollercoaster ride. This is a hard blow to my family as she was diagnosed two weeks after my aunt was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, my aunt passed away on May 4, 2023, 4 weeks after receiving her cancer diagnosis. So, as we mourn, my family is trying to pick up the pieces while keeping hope alive for my grandmother.

As you can imagine, the cost of medical treatment can be overwhelming, especially for a family like ours who is already dealing with so much. The financial burden is more than we can manage to cover these tests. She needs money for testing before she can begin treatment. She urgently needs immediate funds to get a bronchoscopy and mediastinoscopy to start, so that she can begin her treatment and the valiant fight on this long road ahead of her. She is prepared to fight and your donations will help her win this battle.

We have been doing our best to cover the costs, but it has been challenging. That's why we are turning to you for help. We have set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds to support my grandmother's medical expenses and to help us provide the care she needs.
